Hello and welcome to the Piano Man website. If you want to learn how to play the piano from a complete beginner's level, in more forms than just reading, then look no further!
Many people don't give lessons a try, thinking that the piano is a classical instrument, and an old art form. They also think that you'll be taught as such, and be made to learn Mozart and Beethoven. This site is here to prove that this is not the case, and there's more to learn out there.
Alongside teaching you the basic skills of playing the piano and reading sheet music, I will show you how to play a selection of songs from bands and artists such as:
- The Fray
- Coldplay
- Damien Rice
- Linkin Park
Sample Tutorial
In the video above you can see the level of quality you can expect from these tutorials. Each video is recorded from a top-down angle so that you can see exactly what I am playing without anything obscuring the camera.
They are voiced over giving an explanation of what you are seeing and what I am doing, and they are also accompanied by text explaining in more depth the theory you need to know about that particular tutorial. The video and text compliment each other, so you should definitely watch and read both.
